We’ve been planning it for a long time but, last week, Julian Calverley and I finally managed to coincide our diaries for a couple of days printing together.  The programme of making Edition Prints for Julian is now gently gaining momentum.

If you follow me on Twitter, you’ll know that I have always been a big fan of Julian’s work – not only a fan of his photography but also his methodology.

Working with high resolution digital backs on beautiful Alpa cameras, the quality of his work is stunning – lending itself perfectly to Large Format Pigment Prints.

The incredible combination of HP’s DJz3200 and Hahnemühle Bamboo 290gsm sets the prints off beautifully – the icing on the cake of a great two days working with Julian.

If you haven’t caught up with Julian’s Blog yet, it really is worth spending a few moments looking through his impressive catalogue of work.
